The Meteorological Department has described this season as pre-monsoon season. Cyclonic circulation is persisting in north-eastern parts of Bihar. The reason for this is the effect of soft wind coming from the Bay of Bengal in the northern part of the state. The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rainfall in some places of Rohtas, Aurangabad, Gaya, Nawada, West and East Champaran, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria and Kishanganj districts on Saturday morning. During this period the wind speed will be 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rainfall in some places of North West, North Central, North East, South West, South Central, South East and the wind speed will be 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. For this, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert.
Meteorological Department’s appeal – people should be careful
The Meteorological Department has said that except the south-west part, light to moderate rainfall has been recorded at some places in the remaining parts. Moderate rainfall was recorded at places like Hayaghat, Darbhanga, Araria, Barh, Khagaria, Sonbarsa, Pusa etc. The maximum temperature was recorded in Patna 28.4, Gaya 32.1, Bhagalpur 27.2, and Purnia 29.8 degrees Celsius. As per the weather forecast for Bihar during the next 48 hours, easterly wind continues to flow over Bihar. Thunderstorm, lightning, strong wind and rainfall are forecast at some places in the North and South Eastern parts during the next 24 hours. On the next day i.e. Sunday, there is forecast of light to moderate rain with thunder at some places in entire Bihar. The weather department said that people should be careful. Never go to open spaces, near trees or stand under electricity or telephone poles. If you are traveling by vehicle, stop after seeing a safe place.

The Meteorological Department believes that the maximum temperature was recorded at 35.4 degrees Celsius in Dehri, Bihar, while the lowest temperature was recorded at 19.0 degrees in Motihari.
